These terms govern use of YallaMoov, a carpooling platform operated by Rahma Integrated Concepts Ltd. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. They describe how the service currently operates and may change as the product develops.
Carpooling platform
YallaMoov helps drivers who have available seats connect with passengers travelling in a compatible direction. It is not a taxi company, dispatch service, or conventional ride-hailing operator. Availability of rides is not guaranteed.
Independent users
Drivers and passengers are independent users. YallaMoov does not employ drivers to transport passengers and does not take possession of vehicles. Users remain responsible for licensing, insurance, roadworthiness, and lawful conduct.
Account accuracy
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and use only an account that belongs to you. Phone numbers and emails used for authentication must be under your control.
Acceptable use
Use YallaMoov only for lawful carpooling coordination. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it unreasonably, impersonate others, or use it to advertise unrelated services.
Ride listings
Drivers who post journeys must describe the planned route, time, seats, and any contribution honestly. A listing is an offer to coordinate a shared journey, not a guaranteed commercial carriage contract.
Bookings
Passengers may request seats on listed journeys. A booking is created when a driver accepts a request, subject to remaining seats and the rules in the app. Either party should communicate promptly if plans change.
Payments
Some journeys may collect a passenger seat contribution after a request is accepted. Where payment is enabled, amounts shown in the app and confirmation by the payment processor (not the in-app return screen alone) determine whether a contribution is recorded. Platform fees may apply as configured. YallaMoov is not a stored-value wallet.
Cancellations
Rides and bookings may be cancelled according to in-app rules. Where a contribution was paid, refund handling follows the product’s cancellation rules (for example refunds when the driver or platform cancels after payment). Do not assume compensation beyond what the app records.
User conduct
Treat other users respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, unsafe driving, fraud, or misuse of chat and reporting tools is prohibited.
Safety responsibilities
You are responsible for your own safety and for complying with applicable law. In-app reporting is not monitored in real time and is not a substitute for emergency services. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency numbers.
Prohibited use
You may not use YallaMoov for illegal transport, trafficking, weapons, or any activity that endangers others. You may not create multiple accounts to evade suspension.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, cancel scheduled rides, or restrict features where we reasonably believe these terms, safety, or the law require it.
Limitation
The service is provided as an early-stage coordination platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, match quality, or the conduct of other users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Nigerian law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Nigeria have jurisdiction over disputes that cannot be resolved directly with us.
